My Green Age: Rewilding
When 90% of Earth’s landscape has been left barren, scientists begin a revolutionary project in which volunteers are sent out to attempt to bring life back to the land. As one of these volunteers, you've dedicated the next ten years to making this project succeed; yet even in isolation you can't just leave the past behind.

Writing
"Is there anyone waiting for you back home at all? Would you care if there was? Could you ever go back to a place where plants are grown so artificially, and “nature” doesn’t mean the same thing as it does here?"
"The familiar voice of your brother begins to play. He sounds almost as you remember him, though his voice seems little deeper. A little older. A twinge of sadness washes over you as you think about how he’s older than you now. You’ve lost so much time."

Description
SCRAMP
My Green Age is a meditative ecology game about growing a forest over an abandoned highway. After each day's work planning your micro-ecosystem, you enter cryo-sleep for a month. My Green Age follows a person who gives up a decade of chronological life for this job, and explores how it feels to experience ten years of incremental work all at once.
Over time, you'll learn more about why you came here, your past life, and how plants grow in this world dealing with the consequences of climate change. The more you grow, the more the environment unfolds around you.
My five teammates and I were motivated by our frustrations with the complicated reality of being individual actors in the face of climate change.
